About the artist

Shubhada Sahasrabudhe is a renowned sand artist who uses sand dusted and sculpted against a lit glass table to create unique artistry.  She has used sand as a medium of art for over 25 years creating elaborate portraits, landscapes, abstract art with sand. Shubhada has often used sand as a dynamic medium with light to choreograph emotionally appealing stories. She has given several captivating live sand art performances at art, cultural and corporate shows. She has also created fascinating sand art commercials for several businesses and has appeared on Nickelodeon’s ‘Playdate with Ryan’ series. She is an accomplished artist in other visual art forms like painting, charcoal sketching and is an accomplished oil landscape artist with many solo art shows.
